Critical Safety and Handling Information (ESSENTIAL):
• FOR USE BY HIGHLY EXPERIENCED SPECIALIST SURGEONS IN SELECTED MAXIMAL PROCEDURES ONLY. Requires dedicated training and practice in handling ultra-wide retractors.
• Bending Protocol: Shape the blade ONLY with both hands, applying force evenly across the surface and using meticulously controlled, uniform force application. ABSOLUTE PROHIBITION: No bending over table edges, against resistance, or with tools. Due to the material dimensions, the risk of irreversible kinking if misused is high.
• Pre-Use Precision Inspection: Before EACH use, a meticulous inspection under good lighting for micro-cracks ("hairline cracks"), signs of material fatigue ("bend lines"), or incipient delamination is REQUIRED. Pay special attention to the junction with the handle.
• Specialized Reprocessing Required: The instrument requires manual pre-cleaning immediately after use. Automated cleaning may ONLY be performed in specially approved, extra-large and flat instrument trays. Keep separate from other instruments.
• Storage with Precision Requirements: Must be stored in the provided forming tray or on absolutely flat, large surfaces. Any improper storage (e.g., leaning, overhanging) will cause permanent deformation and render the instrument unusable.
• Sterilization Logistics: Requires priority treatment in the sterilization process. Sterilize only in large containers designed for this purpose. The sterilization service must be informed about the special requirements of this instrument.
