Important Safety Notes:

• Before each use, inspect for intact, sharp prong tips and a correctly functioning, stable spring.
• Special Caution: The sharp prongs can cause significant tissue damage if applied incorrectly or with excessive pressure. Do not use on thin, atrophic skin.
• Apply spring force in a targeted and measured manner to avoid ischemia or necrosis of the grasped tissue. Periodically release the retractor during the procedure.
• Do not apply in immediate proximity to important superficial nerves (e.g., saphenous nerve, superficial radial nerve).
• Strict adherence to reprocessing protocols is mandatory to remove tissue residues from between the prongs.
• Discard immediately if prongs become even slightly dull, if the prong row is bent, or if spring tension weakens.
