The trocar is an instrument that is used in minimally invasive surgery to provide sharp or blunt access to a body cavity (e.g. abdominal cavity, chest area) and to keep it open through a tube (= tube). Instruments and optics can be introduced via trocars. We offer various diameters and lengths. The best known trocars are trocars after Campbell, Coakley, Douglas, Eicken, Ochsner, Krause and Pierce.
